I have been pleasantly surprised and extremely grateful for Amy as my life coach! There were some obstacles that I had struggled with for 20-30+ years, and no amount of my own effort or even years of therapy seemed to fix them in any radical way. Then along came Amy, a miracle from above who came into my life at just the right time. No matter what my issue was during that season (job, family, dating relationship), we had a goal at the beginning of the conversation. She always asks, “What do you hope to gain/accomplish from this conversation?” Then, at the end, after talking through my difficulties with her, I decide on at least two positive action steps I can take during the next few weeks to help solve the problem. To say that my experience with her has been life-changing would be an understatement. She patiently and prayerfully asks insightful questions. During our conversations, I finally understand the root cause of my struggle. Sometimes it may take the entire time for me to have the insight that I need, or even a few days, but it arrives! I believe it is so powerful because the conversation always has a very specific objective, followed by strategic action steps at the end. Both the objective and action steps are determined by me. Life coaching is so powerful for these reasons, at least in my life - it is both strategic and practical. Each conversation has a different objective, rather than talking about the same issue for years. I have loved the whole experience, and I will continue to call this dear woman as various challenges arise!

When I hired Amy I had hoped to get a clearer understanding of career goals and next steps as well as learn certain areas where I might be holding myself back unintentionally.
